No Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls

Nov12

I can't stop eating these! No Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls!

Admittedly, there’s one sweet treat combination I can’t pass up, and that’s the amazing mixture of chocolate and peanut butter.

From my Chocolate Peanut Butter Rice Krispie Treats to these amazingly easy No Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls, I love the simple ease of absolutely no baking with either recipe.

Watch out because these are incredibly addicting.

For a perfect holiday gift giving idea that everyone will love, serve them slightly frozen in a holiday tin. (Yes, you can freeze cookie dough.)

  1. Oh, my goodness! These wouldn’t last an hour at my house! I MUST MUST MUST make them. I can feel the holiday inches/pounds just adding themselves to my waist. I am so going to make these! Our holiday cookies are all chocolate peanut butter combinations with peanut butter blossoms, peanut butter bon bons, baked peanut butter cups, and now these no bake peanut butter balls!

My husband’s favorite food in all the world is a peanut butter cup, so adding to this “wide” assortment of holiday treats will tickle his fancy!

Trust me, these go in the mouth and quick as we can make them. My suggestions, roll them and RUN AWAY! (Or you will eat them. ;))
And the baked peanut butter cups sound amazing!!!!

  2. Those look marvelous! I usually make the kind without Rice Krispies, but they have so much sugar! These look a lot better 🙂

Yes, I think having the Rice Krispies in there allow the recipe to cut down on the sugar…a bit. 😉 Not quite fat free, but close. hahah

  3. My mother-in-law makes these only using corn flakes instead of rice krispies. Love that recipe, so will definately have to try this version-they are so fast and so easy. Thanks for this new style.

  4. Any thoughts on substituting something else for the corn syrup? I’ll be making these with or without, but would have less guilt w/o the corn syrup. 🙂

  5. The corn syrup is optional. I also like the melting chocolate candiquik stuff, it tastes better with the peanut butter. (:

These look so yummy! BUT Water in chocolate?!? That goes against everything I’ve ever learned about melting chocolate! Are you sure?? Here is a pretty good explanation why you should NEVER get water in your chocolate…

That is a great explanation and I totally agree, although, my friend has made it this way for years with just the bit of water and always delicious. That’s an easy omit though for those that don’t want to. Thx . 🙂

I made these and tried them with out the water first and it just was SO thick and there was no way you could spoon the chocolate onto the balls, as soon as I added the water it was perfect, so there is a good reason to use the water!.

  7. Made these for a work party, making them again for our New Years party! They are so yummy!!! I plan to do a double batch this time, and to save some work I am going to try using chocolate syrup that hardens rather than melting my own, we’ll see how it goes, I’m sure it will be delicious!!!
