I can’t believe that I am announcing that registration for our seventh annual Becoming Conference is open. I am over the top thrilled to invite you to join us!! Whether you come alone (take the first step and we will connect you with new friends) or you gather some others for the ultimate girls getaway weekend, I can’t wait to meet you.
When this was a dream in my heart all those years ago to bring practical, hands on topics to my blog readers, I never would have imagined that it would become a longstanding tradition with hundreds of women coming from all over the US.
This time away is for YOU!
A weekend for YOU to be encouraged, refreshed and gather with other women who are journeying right along side you.
Becoming 2018 is a weekend designed to encourage and inspire women to live intentionally by becoming more creative, purposeful, and frugal. As women, many of us desire to be more intentional with our time and financial resources; more intentional with our family and homes, but aren’t sure how to make that happen. I guarantee that you will laugh, maybe cry, but have tons of fun doing it.
As we gather from all walks of life, we will tackle some of those day to day issues that typically seem mundane and give you a sense of magic. Our desire is that you will leave, not only refreshed, but encouraged, empowered, and motivated with the practical and tangible ideas you have received.
From encouragement in our homes, families and mothering to meal planning (I’m bringing in an Instant Pot expert this year), hospitality, home organization, home decor, DIY (with a self taught, licensed contractor to help you tackle home improvement projects), chalk board and hand lettering workshops and more, Becoming 2018 will breathe life and give purpose to our everyday moments.
If it comes to creating, repurposing or being intentional with our money, time and energy, we want to cover it.
As we are bring together a number of talented speakers and bloggers, all who are passionate in their areas of expertise, they will instruct and inspire you on a number of topics.
With both large groups and smaller, interactive workshops, we want to ensure that you leave empowered with tools to enrich your life. There’s always something to learn, new ways to find inspiration and for me, it’s the boost I need to reengage my spirt on all things heart and home.
Hosted once again in the beautiful mountains of Asheville, NC on Friday and Saturday, April 20 – 21, 2018, we will be at the Lake Junaluska Conference and retreat center.

Since managing money wisely is so important me, I have kept the cost of the conference as low as you will find anywhere.
Please note that you will need two separate registrations if you are planning on staying on-site.
You will purchase a separate Becoming Conference ticket ($55 which is the early bird price right now) which includes all of the break out sessions, special activities, goodies and the Ladies Night In, which can be done through this link.
Your choice of lodging and meals will need to be reserved directly through Lake Junaluska’s reservation center, but don’t delay too much because we will sell out this year. Rooms are on a first come, first serve basis. They have some great houses to rent on the lake as well.
